Yes I know, not been very good in terms of keeping new reviews coming through but to be fair I have been completely busy the last few weeks, which is just as well. However 8 posts in one month is pretty abismal as I’ve got FAR too many reviews to get on with. I’ll be sure to pick up the pace in the coming month and at the very least go through all the various reviews I’ve half written on the system (there’s like 20 drafts and counting). Anyway back to our regular feature (of which I missed last week, but that’s ok, nothing really interesting came out last week in the GN department so you didn’t miss much believe me).

As much as this PAINS me to say, I might actually pick this book up. Can’t believe I’m going to put some cash for something called Captain America but it’s written by Ed Brubaker who is one of my favourite writers at the moment and drawn by Steve Epting, who is a consumate pro. So yeah, this will be my first Captain America book I buy. Damn you Ed, damn you!!!!

I bought the first volume of this absolute ages ago and never actually got round to reading it. Then I left back for England and so it sits on my bookshelf with a few other books in Greece. Alas I like Colleen Doran and her stuff but I honestly can’t comment on the story. I’ve heard lots of good things about this series, so hopefully I’ll be giving it a full review in the coming months once I get my copy of the first volume back.
