Preacher TV Series in the works?

See now this is interesting. Preacher on the tube would be pretty amazing. Flesh out the entire graphic novel series as much as possible without the constraints of time. See a movie to adapt this story would fall flat, no matter who was at the helm, and to be honest it was looking good in the first place. Yes I will be reviewing this seminal work by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon in the not too distant future.
